About this file
This document provides an amendment to a solicitation for power substation bare ground weed control services in eastern Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska. The amendment answers vendor questions to clarify the solicitation requirements. Services include herbicide application to gravel areas considered bare ground at specified power substation sites over a base year and four option years. The incumbent contractor and pricing are provided for reference. The Department of Energy Western Area Power Administration is seeking quotes due by June 28, 2021 for award of a firm-fixed-price small business set-aside contract with a NAICS code of 561730 and size standard of $8 million. Different crews may be used across states if qualified, but performance cannot occur concurrently in multiple locations.
