About this file
This document is a Q&A addendum for U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Solicitation Number 86615625Q00006, providing clarifications for prospective offerors. The document contains four key questions and answers addressing system usage details, including anticipated search volumes, batch upload specifications, and user engagement. Specifically, HUD indicates they expect 14 users to perform both manual lookups and batch uploads, with a typical batch size of up to 50 cases, and a 700,000 borrower case backlog to be processed throughout the contract's lifecycle. All users are expected to run searches daily, regardless of whether their usage is frequent or occasional, suggesting a comprehensive and consistent approach to case processing.

Reference: Questions in response to Solicitation Number 86615625Q00006
To: Prospective Offerors
The following questions and answers addressed below are hereby incorporated into this solicitation:
Q1 Across all 14 users, approximately how many total searches do you expect to run in a year, and roughly what percentage will be manual lookups versus batch uploads?
A1 Our team anticipates executing both manual lookups and batch uploads. However, it is difficult to anticipate the total number of searches that we expect to run in a year.
Q2 For batch uploads, what is the typical file size (number of records) and how frequently do you anticipate running them?
A2 We anticipate that the typical batch size will include not more than 50 cases at a time.
The file size and frequency are dependent on the results of the return file and the amount of time required to research and process the results.
Q3 With the 700,000 borrower backlog, do you intend to process all cases in the first year, or will this be spread out over multiple years?
A3 The “unpaid borrower cases” will be processed throughout the lifecycle of the contract.
Q4 Will most users be running searchers daily, or will some licenses see light, occasional use?
A4 All users will run searches on a daily basis whether light or occasional.
