About this file

This file is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for Solicitation 832674285 regarding the procurement of custom acrylic graphic paneling and signage for delivery to the DISA Europe office in Stuttgart, Germany. The Q&A addresses key requirements and clarifications for prospective offerors, including specifications for graphics application, insert specifications, and delivery logistics.

Key requirements identified in the Q&A include: air shipping is mandatory to protect panels and meet the aggressive completion timeline; the Government will print inserts unless otherwise specified; offerors may apply graphics using either decals or direct printing on acrylic, with both methods acceptable; some acrylic circles require no graphics and this is intentional; a delivery deadline exists with potential extensions of up to 14 days available if manufacturing constraints require it; and all offerors must be registered under NAICS code 339950 (Sign Manufacturing) as a small business with fewer than 500 employees on sam.gov and in their representations and certifications to be eligible for award. The solicitation involves procurement of commodities only, with limited items requiring DISA logos provided in .ai format with full-color printing required.

Q&A

Questions/Comments/RecommendationsGovernment Response
Is there a preferred method of shipping?Yes, shipping is required via air to better protect the panels and due to the short completion timeframe requested by DISA Europe.
Regarding the description: wherever it mentions an insert, should I assume I am printing an insert to go along with the acrylic panel or is that note just for your reference and I should not include an insert? The Insert size is the size of the image that will be placed in the frame. Inserts will be printed by the Government unless otherwise specified.
In the first section (Service Wall) you include a request for graphics. Do you prefer applying decals or can we direct print on the acrylic since I have that capability? The Government will accept either decals or direct print on acrylic.
Also, I noticed other sections ask for acrylic circles but do not request a graphic for that section. I want to verify that this is correct.Yes. That is correct.
Is the delivery deadline firm? It is an extremely tight deadline; pricing would need to change if soThe delivery deadline is the date that the Government wants to receive all materials. Manufacturing constraints are understood, and a small extension (of no more than 14 days) could be granted.
Do companies have to be registered under the NAICS within the representations and certifications on sam.gov to be considered for award?Yes. That is correct. If you are not then the government is unable to award to your company.
