About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details security system maintenance services for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) at Scott Air Force Base. The contract requires 24/7 on-call maintenance and preventative maintenance for an existing Johnson Controls CCURE 9000 security access system, including badging stations, a Bosch Intrusion Detection System, and a Milestone video system. Key objectives include maintaining the security system's integrity, performing monthly preventative maintenance, providing a 24/7 central call center, and ensuring rapid response to trouble calls (24 hours for emergencies, 7 days for routine maintenance).
The solicitation is currently in a sources sought phase, with DISA initially determining Johnson Controls as the sole potential provider but seeking market research to identify alternative contractors. The contract will have a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. Contractor requirements include maintaining system software, procuring technical support, maintaining access card inventory, providing technical guidance on system upgrades, and creating monthly system backups. Constraints include a 5x8 work schedule, T-1 Security Clearance, specific system certifications, and a minimum of two years' experience. Contractors must be U.S. citizens and undergo background investigations to access the controlled unclassified information system.
