About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for NASA RFQ 80NSSC27946679Q regarding C-Band RF Amplifiers and Switches. The document addresses four vendor inquiries and provides customer responses to clarify procurement requirements and specifications.
NASA confirms that partial shipments of Pasternack PE15A4042 amplifiers are acceptable if delivery cannot occur by December 18, 2026. The customer notes that if invoicing occurs upon complete receipt of all products, separate shipping line items are not required; however, vendors invoicing for each individual shipment must include corresponding shipping line items if shipping costs are not incorporated into the base line item price. A milestone payment plan should be included in the quote. No certificate of conformance, special marking, or specialized packaging is required. Brand-name Pasternack parts purchased through authorized sources are acceptable for this procurement. The document also corrects a typographical error in SAM.gov, clarifying that the correct Notice ID is 80NSSC27946679Q rather than the 80NSSC946679Q listed on the government website, and vendors should use the correct ID in their quote email subject lines.

Vendor Questions and Customer Response - 80NSSC27946679Q C-Band RF Amplifiers and Switches
Vendor Questions:
1. If the Pasternack PE15A4042 amplifiers cannot arrive by 12/18/2026, will NASA accept a partial shipment or a later delivery date? Yes, partial shipment is acceptable.
NOTE: If you do partial shipment but invoice once when all products are received then the following is not required. If you intend to invoice for each shipment and shipping not included in the price of the line item, then a shipping line is needed for each shipment.
Also, milestone payment plan included in the quote.
2. Is a certificate of conformance or any special marking or packaging required? NO
3. Can you confirm that brand-name Pasternack parts bought through an authorized source are acceptable? Yes, this is acceptable.
4. RFQ. SAM.gov lists notice ID 80NSSC946679Q, while the attached RFQ cover page says 80NSSC27946679Q. The instructions require the notice ID in the quote email subject. Which ID should offerors use? My apology for the typographical error when entering the information in SAM.gov. The correct Notice ID is 80NSSC27946679Q.
