About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a NASA procurement of a portable Eddy Current Array (ECA) nondestructive evaluation system.
The Government requires one complete Eddyfi Technologies Reddy portable 128-channel surface ECA instrument system to support NASA materials and component inspection activities. The contractor must deliver a new, complete, and operational system that mirrors an existing unit already in use and will serve mission assurance, ground testing, and redundancy purposes. The system must include the main instrument with 128-channel ECA capability and integrated multi-touch display, three specific ECA probes (semi-flexible array probe ECA-SFD-034-500-032-N03S with 34mm coverage and 32 coils at 500kHz; I-flex probe ECA-IFG-034-500-048-N03S with 34mm coverage and 48 coils at 500kHz; and T-flex probes ECA-TFC-070-300-044-N03S with 70mm coverage and 44 coils at 300kHz), one encoder (ENC-STD-2-12P-N03S) with rugged aluminum casing and replaceable wheel, rechargeable batteries, power supply/charger, rugged carrying case, all standard cables and connectors, integrated data acquisition and analysis software with automatic probe recognition, manufacturer's operating manuals, and manufacturer's standard warranty and technical support. The anticipated delivery timeline is approximately four weeks after receipt of order for the main instrument, subject to final vendor quotation. The contractor shall verify equipment completeness and operational status prior to shipment, with any defective or nonconforming equipment to be repaired or replaced under warranty. Government inspection will verify equipment delivery, operational functionality, data acquisition capabilities, inclusion of all required components, and conformance to contract requirements, with rejection of any nonconforming equipment until deficiencies are corrected. No classified information or security clearance is required.

RStatement of Work (SOW)
Project: Eddy Current Array Instrument (Reddy)
1.0 Scope of Work
The Government requires one portable Eddy Current Array (ECA) nondestructive evaluation (NDE) system to support NASA materials and component inspection activities. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver a complete Eddyfi Technologies Reddy portable 128 channel surface ECA instrument system, including required probes, software, batteries, power supply, carrying case, and standard accessories.
2.0 Background
NASA requires portable ECA inspection capability for evaluation of electrically conductive materials and components. The required system will support efficient surface inspection, data acquisition, and analysis in laboratory and field environments. The Reddy system provides an integrated portable ECA capability with high-channel-count acquisition, integrated display, data-analysis software, and ruggedized construction. This specific unit is required as it is intended to mirror a matching system that already exists and will be used for upcoming NASA mission needs.
3.0 Objective
The objective is to provide NASA with a complete, operational portable ECA system capable of high-resolution surface inspection, data acquisition, visualization, analysis, and storage. The main instrument must match an existing system that will be deployed for upcoming mission needs, so the unit will be necessary for mission assurance, ground testing and necessary redundancy of the deployed unit.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
