About this file
This is a Statement of Work for NASA Kennedy Space Center outlining parts procurement requirements for two specific projects related to Orion scrubber purge capability and cabin air supply monitoring.
The work consists of ordering 18 total items across two product categories. Six units of turbine flow meters (OEM Part # FT-08AER1-GEA-2) are required, each a 1/2" turbine flowmeter with 10 ACFM maximum capacity, rated to 300 degrees Fahrenheit, featuring 316 stainless steel housing with 430F stainless steel rotor, and 440C stainless steel ball bearings with magnetic pickoff and 2-pin MS connection. These meters must be calibrated per drawing 79K03436 KSC at Reynolds 1 gas specification, with CEESI calibration in air at 293 PSIA across 10 calibration points ranging from 31-206 SCFM. Additionally, six signal conditioner units (OEM Part # TWA-A-9-00-IS) are required, each a two-wire 4-20mA flowmeter transmitter with FTI RF pickoff input, explosion-proof enclosure rated for Class 1, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups A, B, C & D, and FM intrinsically safe certification. Both products are classified as EAR99 for export control purposes. Work will be performed at Kennedy Space Center facilities including the Vehicle Assembly Building, Mobile Launcher, and Multi-payload Processing Facility, with a performance period of 10/25/2026. The NASA point of contact is Juliane Brudnicki, AST Logistics Engineering Management, at 321.861.2508 or juliane.m.brudnicki@nasa.gov.
