About this file

This is a Technical Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity 80NSSC26942389Q addressing contractor inquiries regarding console delivery and furniture specifications.

The document clarifies two key points: (1) the delivery location for consoles is Ames Research Center, Building N240, Rooms R241A and R242, as specified in the Statement of Work; and (2) regarding desk depth specifications, the government indicated openness to considering desks with 36-38 inches of overall depth including the slat wall, contingent upon contractor demonstration that the solution is optimal for the space. The government expressed concern that this depth may result in oversized desks but stated willingness to evaluate proposals supported by detailed drawings that justify the expanded dimensions for ergonomic and operational purposes.

80NSSC26942389Q Technical questions and answers

1. Can you provide the exact delivery address for the consoles.

a. As posted in the SOW: Ames Research Center

Location: Building N240 – Rooms R241A and R242

2. Is a 36-38” overall depth including the slat wall would be acceptable? The rooms appear to be able to support the extra depth and it would be much more ergonomically correct for the operators in reference to knee space especially,

a. This depth seems like the desks might be too big, but we’re open to considering desks with the addiƟonal depth. We would need to be convinced that the overall soluƟon is opƟmal for the space by the drawings and the proposal.
