Statement of Work: Service Contract for Hitachi S-4700 Scanning Electron Microscope

The contractor shall provide preventive maintenance and on-site emergency repair services for the Government's analytical instrumentation to ensure reliable operation and minimize equipment downtime. Services shall include unlimited on-site emergency service visits during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding contractor holidays), with a targeted on-site response time of 48 hours. The contractor shall also perform two scheduled preventive maintenance inspections annually, including calibration, system diagnostics, cleaning, adjustment, and replacement of covered parts as necessary to maintain manufacturer-recommended performance specifications.
