About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the procurement of a quadrupole mass spectrometer (QMS) with cross-beam ionizer for an unspecified federal agency. The required instrument must have a mass range of 1-50 AMU, a 12 mm quadrupole mass filter operating at a minimum 3.3 MHz frequency, and a 0.92" ionization volume with a 0.375" entrance aperture. Specific technical requirements include an analytical quadrupole section at least 8" long, yttrium oxide coated iridium filaments, and a complete system including ion detector, power supplies, cables, and data acquisition software.

The procurement specifies a delivery timeline of 60-90 days after order receipt. The vendor must supply a QMS capable of distinguishing atomic and molecular hydrogen, with no specified place of performance noted in the document. The SOW provides precise technical specifications without additional context about the procurement process, funding, or end-user application.
