About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details NASA's requirements for acquiring 250 kgs of alloy GRX-810 powder for Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) Additive Manufacturing. The powder must meet specific elemental composition requirements, with precise minimum, nominal, and maximum percentages for elements including Aluminum, Chromium, Cobalt, Nickel, and others. Deliverables include the powder shipment to NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, OH, and comprehensive material certifications that document the powder's full chemistry, sieve or particle size distribution, and Hall flow test results.

The document also includes two Artificial Intelligence (AI) verbiage requirements for contractors: one mandating disclosure of AI technology use during contract performance, and another providing additional requirements for acquiring covered AI systems or services as defined by OMB memo M-25-22. The SOW is dated 12/17/2025 and specifies technical requirements such as powder flow through a Hall Flow Funnel with a 2.5 mm orifice following ASTM standards, with all analytical testing to be conducted using LECO and ICP methods.
