About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details an extended warranty requirement for ZEISS ATOS and TRITOP equipment at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. The one-year warranty covers hardware support including system sensors/cameras, accessories, PC, and holding devices, with OEM part replacement and ground shipping. Software support includes annual major software releases, hot fixes, bug fixes, unlimited personalized phone/email support, and 24/7 access to the ZEISS web portal. The warranty period is from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026, located at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL. While most repairs are covered, onsite repairs requiring travel will be charged to the customer, with ZEISS determining the need for on-site technician intervention.

STATEMENT OF WORK

ZEISS ATOS/TRITOP Extended Warranty

1. Objective/Requirements

Marshall Space Flight Center requires an Extended Warranty(EW) on their ZEISS ATOS and TRITOP items for customer support, repairs and diagnosis for one year from the current warranty expiration in May 2025.

2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs

Hardware support includes all components from the main system sensor/camera, accessories, PC and holding device. All parts are covered with OEM part replacement, which includes ground shipping. However, the EW does not include the replacement of parts with new hardware to improve performance or to ensure new software compatibility.

Software releases, hot fixes, and bug fixes are included throughout the agreement. There is at least one major software release each year (typically around October). Bug fixes are released whenever necessary. Coverage also includes unlimited personalized phone and email support to trouble shoot issues with our expert team and 24/7 access to the ZEISS web portal.

If issues cannot be answered remotely and onsite repair is required, all travel expenses and labor expenses are charged to the customer. ZEISS will determine if a repair is a qualified incident requiring a technician to come on-site. If the repair can be completed at our Michigan facility, the support contract covers the labor and repair.

3. Place of Performance

Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL

4. Period of Performance Warranty shall cover from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026
