About this file

This Statement of Work details NASA's requirements for GRX-810 alloy powder for L-PBF and DED additive manufacturing processes. NASA seeks approximately 750 pounds total, comprising 500 pounds of L-PBF (15-45um diameter) and 250 pounds of DED (45-105um diameter) powder.

The powder must meet specific chemical composition requirements, with precise percentages for elements including Al (0.15-0.45%), Cr (28.75-31.25%), Co (30.75-33.25%), Nb (0.7-1.0%), Re (1.4-1.6%), Ti (0.15-0.35%), and W (2.5-3.5%), with Nickel as the balance. Vendors must be pre-approved on NASA's IP list for GRX-810 Powder and qualified through rapid rupture testing. The powder must pass Hall Flow Funnel testing with a 2.5mm orifice. Lead time is 6-12 weeks, with delivery required to NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, OH. Material certifications including chemistry, particle size distribution, and flow test results must be provided upon completion.
