About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details NASA Aeronautics Research Institute's project to upgrade collaboration rooms in Building 17 at Moffett Field, California. The project involves renovating three rooms (201, 202, and 214) with advanced audiovisual technology and furniture to support hybrid meetings and collaborative work environments.

Specific scope includes purchasing and installing wireless presentation systems, conference cameras, sound systems, touchscreen controls, furniture, and miscellaneous equipment for each room. Room 201 will be upgraded with 4K wireless presentation capabilities, conference cameras, and new tables. Room 202 will receive a matrix switcher, ceiling microphones, and additional furniture. Room 214 will be transformed into a collaborative kitchen and lounge area with new furniture, a refrigerator, and decorative elements. Additional requirements include compliance with federal energy efficiency standards, using government-issued Real ID for facility access, and working on the second floor of a building without elevator access. The project emphasizes user-friendly, reconfigurable spaces compatible with NASA Microsoft Teams collaboration tools and existing infrastructure.

SOW

Purpose:

NARI hosts multiple hybrid meetings in Building 17, which offers easy access for visitors in the NASA Research Park. The goal is to upgrade conference room 202, repurpose conference room 201 for compatibility with NASA-approved MS Teams collaboration tools, and convert room 214 into a collaborative breakout or impromptu meeting space.

These rooms must be:

● User-friendly and intuitive to operate.

● Reconfigurable in layout and hybrid-capable (virtual and in-person attendance).

● Integrated with existing equipment and furniture.

● Compliant with NASA Microsoft Teams, security, safety, and IT requirements, including commercial IT requests and necessary permits.

● Aligned with NASA facility requirements, including historical preservation where applicable.
