About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a requirement to purchase a new Load Moment Indicator (LMI) for a Broderson 30K lbs. Mobile Crane, Model IC-180-1A. The LMI is a critical peripheral device that provides the crane operator with essential information such as load weight, radius capacity, boom angle, length, radius, anti-two block warning, and anemometer. The current LMI has failed and is no longer supported by the manufacturer.
The objectives are to maintain the crane's compliance with NASA, OSHA, and ASME standards, and provide the operator with critical information to ensure safety and stability during lifting operations. The new LMI must meet specific requirements including minimum display size, high resolution LCD screen, large memory and processing speed, integration with the CAN bus network, self-diagnostic capabilities, and environmental ratings. The vendor is responsible for delivering, installing, and calibrating the new LMI, as well as providing all required components, materials, and labor. Delivery is required by January 30, 2024.
