80NSS21766385Q, small axial fan prototype
Q) I am interested in quoting this small axial fan assembly. Several of the machined components do not have material listed it says SEE PROJECT MANAGER.
Can you supply a stock list or a listing of materials that are not listed on the drawings and any other information I may need to get this quoted?
Are some of these parts cast or machined from raw stock?
A) The parts have a very high factor of safety in any commonly used metal, so we decided to leave the choice up to the vendor. Aluminum, titanium or stainless steel, these were all proposed by various vendors and any are acceptable. They can be machined, cast or additively manufactured, also vendor choice. The choices should be specified in the quote.
We also made a list of COTS parts (attached), if that’s useful. It’s all information from the drawings, but it might be helpful to potential vendors.
NOTE: CAD Drawings can be provided upon request, a large file transfer will be done.
