NASA Agency Supply for Liquid Hydrogen 80KSC022R0017

Question

Question Government Response

1 The [prospective offeror] appreciates the Q&A Amendment 001 posted by NASA that reflects the monthly volumes at the MSFC.

We would like to respectfully follow up and ask NASA to provide the number of pounds or loads per day required and the frequency of those deliveries along with duration of those deliveries?

For example, for the highest volume month of February 2022, was the 133,350 lbs. required within a few days time frame or within a week(s)? How many loads per day were required over what duration/time frame?

Would that high peak demand schedule be similar to the highest demand month in November 2020? Can NASA also provide the number of loads per day over what timeframe for November 2020 for our reference and review.

The [prospective offeror] understands that the solicitation has been extended until 7/20; however, we would like to respectfully ask for additional time so that we have some of the historical demand schedule knowledge that the incumbent supplier has.

Is NASA able to share any data in regard to the future forecast volume demand schedule for MSFC?

As previously provided in the Government's Questions and Responses posted on 7/15/22, historical information is not indicative of future usage requirements. It is the responsibility of prospective offerors to meet the future usage requirements at any given point during the contract period listed in the RFP 2.1.1 Schedule of Supplies Table for Liquid Hydrogen. The Government can only supply that information provided in the Government’s Questions and Responses posted on 7/15/22, and that information available in the RFP, including Section 2.1.1 Schedule of Supplies Table for Liquid Hydrogen.

The proposal date and time will not be extended.
