RFP Section SOW Section Attachment Comment/Question RESPONSE Requests MS Word documents for this RFP. Rationale: MS word version facilitates process.

The Microsoft word versions of the requested documents have been posted to sam.gov.

6.4.11.2 Launch Service Overview

If proposing only NASA Category 1-3 certified launch vehicles, we interpret the RFP (and previous Q&A’s) to state we do notttt need to submit an Attachment 5, nor any 6.4.11.2 answers. Is this an accurate interpretation? If not, what is required?

Section 6.4.11.2 Launch Service Overview (b) requires all Offerors to provide all information in Attachment 5 Launch Services Capabilities, Specification and Environments, for the launch service including each proposed common launch vehicle configuration.

NASA category 1, 2 or 3 are only exempt from providing responses to section 6.4.11.2, (c), items 1-4.

6.4.11.1 Minimum Launch Service Criteria

In response to the RFP provision that providers ask questions by June 14, 2021, we are preparing our list of formal questions and will submit before the specified deadline. In preparation of submitting those questions, we request clarity on section

6.4.11.1 Minimum Launch

Service Criteria. Given questions are due only two weeks before final proposals are due, we request a short phone call in the interim to clarify NASA’s definitions of the above section to give us ample time to construct appropriate written questions and receive answers before proposals are due.

One-on-one discussions or phone calls will not be accommodated. Please refer to section 6.4.9 Communications Regarding this Solicitation for instructions on submitting questions.

We received notification of 3 three new documents for the Subject Solicitation. Can you clarify if these are simply MS Word version updates to those previously only provided in .pdf, or updated Word versions to resolve compatibility issues? We want to ensure there is not a change to any technical content.

The subject documents are just word versions of the existing PDF documents previously posted. The original PDF versions are the official documents, and there are no changes to technical content. The Word versions have been posted for convenience related to the fill ins.
