About this file

This Request for Information (RFI) from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Johnson Space Center solicits capability statements from interested parties for the follow-on Human Health and Performance Contract 2 (HHPC2). The anticipated single-award, cost-plus-award-fee IDIQ contract will have a period of performance of five years and an estimated value of $1.9 billion. HHPC2 will provide major support services for human health and performance programs including ensuring crew health and safety, conducting biomedical research, and developing technologies to mitigate risks to future spaceflight crews. Interested parties are invited to respond with capability statements and a vendor capability matrix by February 28, 2024 describing relevant experience, technical qualifications, and strategies for organizational conflicts of interest mitigation and meeting small business goals. The RFI also poses questions regarding collaboration, timely hiring and retention, quality assurance best practices, and medical innovation.
