About this file
This document provides instructions for setting up a Box account to submit proposal information to NASA. Individuals responsible for submitting offeror proposals must create a Box account if they do not already have one. Only US Citizens, Protected Individuals, or Lawful Permanent Residents are eligible to share with NASA through this process.
The account setup process requires users to visit box.com, select the "Get Started" or "Sign Up" button, click on the Individuals and Teams tab, and complete the free account registration with full name, email address, and password. A verification email will be sent to the registered email address, and users must click the Verify Email button to confirm account creation. Once the account is established, individuals must email the NASA Contracting Officer with the email address used to create the account. The Contracting Officer will then create a shared folder and send an email invitation to collaborate. Users must set up two-factor authentication and accept the terms of service before uploading proposal files. Individual files must be uploaded to the shared folder; entire folders cannot be uploaded or dragged and dropped. Offerors are responsible for familiarizing themselves with additional technical requirements through Box Support resources, including support pages for uploads, downloads, and troubleshooting.
