About this file

This is a Cost Proposal exhibit for a runway pavement replacement project at Dallas Love Field, a component of the City of Dallas Airport System's broader 60-month Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity service agreement for airport pavement repair and maintenance services. The project requires the removal and replacement of fifty-four (54) concrete runway panels—forty-eight (48) located in a single area and sixteen (16) in three additional sections—along Runway 13L. The scope of work includes existing concrete removal and disposal, site preparation with compacting and grading, forming and reinforcement installation, light can replacement or reuse with associated electrical work, concrete placement to specifications (17-inch slab, 3,000 PSI mix), compression joint sealing, edge dirt work, and finishing to match existing grooving. Four centerline lights within panel cans are to be replaced among the fifty-four total panels. All work must comply with FAA requirements as outlined in Exhibit B - Airside Pavement Repair Standards and meet applicable City, State, and Federal regulations. The bidder must complete all work within a maximum of forty-five (45) days during a planned runway closure.

The cost proposal must include all project expenses with a detailed breakdown referencing applicable line items from Exhibit C per the specifications provided. Bidders are instructed to subtotal individual Exhibit C line items, calculate total cost per day, and provide a total project cost. Only line items applicable to this specific project should be included in the proposal. The pavement repair specifications serve as the priority documents in the event of any conflict with the cost proposal scope of work.
