About this file
This document is a Knowledge Base Governance Agreement between the Maryland Judiciary's Administrative Office of the Court's Access to Justice (ATJ) program and an unnamed contractor. The agreement outlines the governance, usage, and maintenance of an online Maryland Court Help Center knowledge base, which is intended to provide a centralized repository of legal information and resources for contractor staff and pro bono volunteers to assist with program services. The knowledge base will be managed by a Contract Manager who controls access, with specific Administrator privileges granted to ATJ Staff, the Contractor's Managing Director, Training Coordinator, and Pro Bono Coordinator.
The Judiciary will provide knowledge base software at no cost to the Contractor, with the software subject to change at any time. The Contractor is responsible for developing and maintaining content, including editing current articles and authoring new articles to ensure accuracy and relevance, such as updating the knowledge base after the General Assembly's legislative session. Access to the knowledge base is restricted to current contractor staff and pro bono volunteers, with pro bono volunteers required to sign a Pro Bono Access Agreement before accessing the system. The Contractor must remove access promptly upon separation, termination, or after a 60-day period of inactivity, and the contents of the knowledge base cannot be shared with persons outside the Maryland Judiciary or the Contractor's organization.
