About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 to Bid No. 26-0008-3 issued by the Chatham County Purchasing & Contracting Department in Georgia for the purchase of a 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV for the Chatham County Fire Department. The addendum clarifies specifications and modifies the bid opening date. The revised bid opening is scheduled for 2:00 PM on January 20, 2026. Bidders are responsible for acknowledging receipt of this addendum and making all necessary changes to their submissions accordingly.
The addendum addresses a critical specification regarding vehicle upfits by clarifying that no substitutions are permitted for Whelen emergency light components; all emergency lights must be Whelen brand parts. This specification requirement ensures standardization and compatibility for the fire department's vehicle equipment. Bidders must comply with this requirement and are obligated to incorporate only Whelen-specified parts in their proposals for the Chevrolet Tahoe PPV upfit.
