About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 to Bid 26-0007-3 issued by the Chatham County Purchasing & Contracting Department in Georgia for the purchase of several vehicles for the Chatham County Fire Department. The procurement involves one 2026 Explorer Active and four 2026 F-150 XL Super Crew vehicles, all of which must be year 2026 or newer. The original bid opening date has been changed to 2:00 PM on January 20, 2026. Bidders are responsible for acknowledging receipt of this addendum and making all necessary changes to their submissions in accordance with the revised terms.
A critical specification clarification has been issued regarding vehicle upfits: Chatham County does not allow substitutions for Whelen emergency light part numbers, and all emergency lights must be Whelen brand. This requirement eliminates the possibility of sourcing equivalent parts from other vendors or manufacturers. Bidders must incorporate this mandatory specification into their proposals and pricing.
