About this file
This is an addendum to Bid No. 26-0006-3 issued by the Chatham County Purchasing & Contracting Department in Georgia for the purchase of two new 2026 Ford Super Duty F-250 XLT vehicles intended for the Chatham County Marine Patrol. The addendum clarifies specifications and modifies the bid opening timeline. The bid opening date has been rescheduled to 2:00 PM on January 20, 2026. Bidders are responsible for acknowledging receipt of this addendum and incorporating all specified changes into their submissions.
The addendum addresses a critical specification regarding vehicle upfits by clarifying that all emergency lights must be Whelen brand components with no substitutions permitted from alternative vendors or manufacturers. This specification requirement ensures standardization and compatibility with county equipment and maintenance protocols. Bidders must comply with this mandated requirement when preparing their bids for the two vehicles.
