About this file
This document is a Non-Collusion Affidavit for Lubbock County, Texas, designed to ensure the integrity of the bidding process for a procurement opportunity. The affidavit requires the bidder to swear under oath that their submitted bid is genuine, not collusive, and not made on behalf of any undisclosed party. The affiant must confirm they have not induced or solicited other firms to submit sham bids or refrain from bidding, and have not sought to gain an unfair advantage over other competing firms.
The form must be completed, signed, and notarized, with the notary documenting the date of attestation and their commission expiration. It is a mandatory submission document that must be included with the bid package, serving as a legal declaration of fair and ethical bidding practices. The affidavit is a standard legal mechanism to prevent bid rigging, price fixing, and other anti-competitive behaviors in public procurement processes.
