About this file

This document is a Site Visit Notice for a Department of the Air Force Materiel Command project at Robins Air Force Base. The site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST, with interested parties required to arrive at the Visitor's Center by 8:45 AM. The two-hour visit will involve a site walk and a conference room discussion, focusing on the fabrication and installation of two free-standing awnings with walls for Building 59.

The specific awning requirements include two custom structures, each measuring 19'6" x 5' x 8' with a 2/12 shed/monopitch roof, high wind rating, and weather-resistant materials. Installation involves burying awning legs 2 inches below the surface and securing them with concrete. Color specifications require using ROBINS color codes (22, 32, 48, or 62), and the awnings must include gutters with downspouts. Interested parties must contact the Point of Contact, Stephen Tew, at stephen.tew.2@us.af.mil by October 10, 2025, at 12:30 PM, and provide full visitor names, with all visitors required to bring identification, vehicle registration, and insurance documentation.
