About this file

This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing for a cooperative contract for clothing for correctional and non-correctional use. The solicitation (VD19043-1) was opened on 7/25/2019 and closed on 8/2/2019, with the intent to award multiple contracts to primary and secondary vendors based on lowest responsive bids. The contract will be for a five-year term and is available to Utah public entities, nonprofit organizations, and federal agencies. The contract seeks to combine three previous contracts and add items to create a comprehensive clothing procurement solution, with historical contract spend ranging from $31,853 to $320,995 across different product categories.

The solicitation allows for various pricing structures, including line-item pricing and percentage discounts off catalog pricing for clothing items of different sizes, colors, styles, and qualities. Awarded vendors (Bob Barker Company, Inc. and Victory Supply LLC) will be required to provide quarterly administrative fees and reports. The State of Utah does not guarantee any specific purchase amount under the contract, and eligible users will be responsible for their own charges and liabilities. The procurement is structured to allow for potential future solicitations if more competition emerges, and the contract may be terminated for convenience if there is no reported spend in any fiscal year.
