About this file

This document contains an accounting system evaluation form and details of a related federal contract opportunity for disaster human services case management services. The accounting system evaluation form provides a template for contractors to disclose information about their accounting practices, including whether the system is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, how direct and indirect costs are segregated and allocated, whether the system provides financial data required by contract clauses, and whether the system has been reviewed by government or independent auditors.

The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration to provide disaster human services case management program services. The scope of work involves deploying disaster case managers and resource coordinators to disaster-impacted areas to assess unmet needs of individuals and families, provide a single point of contact to facilitate access to resources, and develop recovery plans for disaster survivors, in accordance with Section 426 of the Robert T.
