The NIH DEP is responsible for providing the NIH, and in this case ASPR, with environmental compliance and regulatory services pursuant to various Federal, State and local laws or regulations such as the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act. The Environmental Compliance Services described herein are critical services that support the ASPR mission.
3. SITE DESCRIPTION
Hangar 110 is an airport hangar in the Kalaeloa Airport located at 300 Midway St. Kapolei, Hi 96707. Hangar 110 is a concrete building with steel doors and frames. There are offices located on the North and South ends of the hangar and the middle of the hangar is open for aircraft storage. There are outbuildings on the north and south ends of the hangar. Hangar 110 is owned by the State of Hawaii and is currently being used to store aircraft, aircraft parts and equipment. Historically, Kalaeloa Airport was a naval airport, Naval Air Station Barbers Point, which was transferred to the State of Hawaii in 1999. The Library of Congress has pictures that list Hangar 110 as a maintenance type hangar. The Library of Congress also has pictures of four of the outbuildings that are labelled Ready Magazine. The NIH has leased Hangar 110, Contract No.
