About this file

This document is a requirement specification for scientific equipment maintenance services. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), specifically the Laboratory of Neurogenetics under the Department of Health and Human Services, is soliciting maintenance and repair services for a Tecan LiHa Robot (Serial Number 510000006) used in genetic analysis of DNA samples. The robot processes array chips to interrogate multiple SNPs simultaneously for research into the genetic contributions to mental health conditions, including alcohol use disorders.

The contractor must provide one annual preventative maintenance visit scheduled at a time convenient to laboratory personnel, along with comprehensive on-call repair coverage including parts, labor, and travel expenses for emergency breakdowns. The service provider must maintain an average onsite response time of two business days for unexpected repairs, replace any reagents rendered unusable due to hardware failures, and provide hardware and software updates at no additional cost. Additionally, the contractor shall offer LiHa system users access to remote technical support, on-site applications support, and discounted rates on advanced training as needed. This is Solicitation Number 75N98027Q00004 issued by the NIH Office of Logistics and Acquisition Operations.
