About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document providing clarification on installation requirements for the Aquaneering Xenopus Aquatic System solicitation (75N98026Q01208-05021) issued by the National Institutes of Health Office of Logistics and Acquisition Operations.
The document addresses key facility and installation logistics for the aquatic system. The installation location (room E018) currently houses IVC mouse racks and has existing electrical power and a dechlorinated water source suitable for frogs. Floor drains are present in the area, though they have been covered with removable plates since the space previously housed non-aquatics. The Animal Resources Section of CMB will be responsible for receiving and confirming equipment delivery, while the vendor is responsible for the complete installation. No building modifications or utility connections are anticipated, as necessary infrastructure is already in place.
