About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for preventative maintenance services for the Axion Maestro Pro 768 system at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) under the Department of Health and Human Services. The SOW outlines the contractor's responsibility to provide comprehensive maintenance support including routine inspections, preventative servicing, parts replacement, and emergency repair capabilities to ensure optimal system performance and minimize downtime. The contractor must maintain a service response capability with defined service level agreements, provide qualified technicians with appropriate certifications, maintain spare parts inventory, and submit detailed maintenance reports documenting all work performed on a monthly basis.
The maintenance agreement requires the contractor to perform scheduled preventative maintenance visits at frequencies specified by the equipment manufacturer, respond to emergency service calls within defined timeframes, and coordinate with NIH logistics and facilities personnel. The SOW emphasizes compliance with federal safety and environmental regulations, proper documentation of all maintenance activities, and availability of technical support during standard business hours with provisions for after-hours emergency response. Contractor personnel must follow NIH security protocols, maintain confidentiality requirements, and coordinate activities through designated NIH points of contact in the Office of Logistics and Acquisition Operations.
