About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract Notice ID 75N98026Q00097, issued by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) for transplant post-discharge lodging services for NCI research participants.
The contract requires housing for an average of 12-15 patients annually (4-5 patients per apartment with caregivers), with a current portfolio of 3 dedicated apartments. The housing mix must include studios, one-bedroom apartments, and at least one two-bedroom unit to accommodate varying patient, caregiver, and dependent needs. All apartment locations must be within one mile of the NIH Clinical Center and situated on an NIH shuttle-approved route to ensure reliable transportation access. The competition is restricted, meaning only eligible entities may bid; third-party corporate furnished housing providers are not eligible. The incumbent contractor operates under contract number 75N91025P00243. Housing does not need to be consolidated in a single complex provided all locations meet the distance and shuttle route requirements. Contract award is expected to occur within one week of the submission deadline.
