About this file
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) seeking Quality Assessment Support services. The RFP (75N96025R00002) is a small business set-aside contemplating award of a cost-reimbursement level of effort contract with one base year and nine option years, plus a potential 6-month extension.
The contractor will conduct assessments of accuracy, consistency, and completeness of Division of Translational Toxicology (DTT)/NIEHS products including laboratory reports, pathology tables, manuscripts, DTT/NIEHS reports, monographs, and literature-based products. The base period is expected to run from September 2025 through September 2026, with proposals due by December 30, 2024 at 4:00 PM ET. The total estimated level of effort is 5,850 hours per year for base services, with opportunities for additional optional effort. Key personnel must include a Program Manager with a Ph.D. and 5 years relevant experience or master's degree with 10 years experience. The evaluation will consider technical factors (experience, management approach, technical approach, personnel, facilities/equipment), past performance, and cost, with technical factors being significantly more important than cost.
