About this file

This document is a contract clause attachment for a solicitation (NIEHS21900003) issued by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), part of the Department of Health and Human Services. The document lists 39 Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and 3 Health and Human Services Acquisition Regulation (HHSAR) clauses that are incorporated by reference, covering areas such as definitions, anti-kickback procedures, privacy protections, payment terms, and subcontractor management.

The document also includes two additional contract clauses with full text (FAR Clauses 52.217-8 and 52.217-9) that provide the government options to extend services and contract terms. Specifically, the government may require continued performance of services within specified limits, with potential rate adjustments based on labor rates. The contract can be extended multiple times, but the total extension of performance shall not exceed 6 months, and the total contract duration, including options, shall not exceed 60 months.
