• Question: Page 3 of the Synopsis/Solicitation under the heading Services, it states that Delivery shall be provided no later than May 31, 2023. Is this the correct date?

Answer: The award will start June 1, 2022 the period of performance will run until May 31, 2023. Option years will change the period of performance each year The expected award is five years.

• Question: Can you provide any further information on how to price the line Items on page 6? Are the hours in the FTE/HOURS chart an allowance for the Full time hourly expenditure allotted to this contract for a year? 1300 hours per base year and each option year? I have not had the opportunity to price an RFQ in this manner and I want to make sure I understand the requirement.

Answer: The FTE/HOURS chart is for the full-time hourly expenditure allotted for this requirement. Recommendation is to take a similar requirement you may have had previously and utilize that formula to come up with your pricing.

• Question: Would the hourly price need to include to cost of the HEPA Filter kits each Incubator would need, twice a year? Basically, each unit would need PM performed twice a year, to include Hepa Filter replacements/etc…? Or, we just provide the 1300 hours per year and NIH will provide the filters?

Answer: We don’t provide anything – it should be inclusive for all necessary PM components.
