About this file

This document is Amendment 2 containing Questions and Answers for solicitation #75N95025Q00034 for Liquid Nitrogen Tanks issued by the National Institute on Drug Abuse. The Q&A reveals that Roberts Oxygen is the incumbent contractor (contract #98024A1095C25F00001) and clarifies several delivery and operational details for the requirement.

Key details include: Building E has a loading dock, site visits are permitted, a minimum of 8 tanks must be maintained on site (in response to a vendor proposing 4 230L tanks with micro bulk truck refills), NIH BSS team will handle tank connections to the house system rather than delivery drivers, and the tanks are currently being rented while the liquid nitrogen (LN2) is purchased separately. The facility only uses high pressure tanks. The document indicates this Q&A is addressing questions about a requirement for 416 liquid nitrogen cylinders with NF grade nitrogen, with deliveries scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays.
