About this file
This amendment to a request for proposals modifies the submission deadline and provides clarification on small business subcontracting requirements for a chemical synthesis facility contract. The National Institutes of Health National Institute of Child Health and Human Development seeks to recompete its contract for cGMP manufacturing of drug substances for contraceptive clinical trials. Offerors must demonstrate the ability to synthesize a minimum of 10-24 and maximum of 48 laboratory-scale small molecules per year at over 95% purity, as well as a minimum of one and maximum of two cGMP lots per year at over 99% purity. Subcontracted cGMP capabilities are acceptable. The amendment increases the small business subcontracting threshold to $750,000 and requires additional documentation of commitments and teaming agreements with small businesses.
