1. Within the GeoTech Report Secon 4.2 Subgrade Improvements, 2 different approaches are noted;

does I.H.S. have a preferred method/approach? No preferred method/approach. It’s recommended to choose an approach that will complete all work under this project as indicated in the project documents.

2. The SOW shows a 6” pad with 6” foongs; are we to assume this is the preferred approach instead of the column and wall foong stated in Secon 4.3? Contractor will provide a six-inch concrete slab per foundaon recommendaons of the Geotechnical report from ESC Southwest, LLP (ESC Project Number 58:1771, January 2, 2024). The SOW tasks and deliverables indicate that the contractor provide a concrete slab will include the stamped design and drawings from a licensed structural engineer.

3. Page 4 of the SOW Section 2 references utility work; are we to provide utilities for the modular building as a part of this project? See Section 3.0 of SOW, “site utilities…by others”. Lawton will provide the tie ins.

4. Electrical:

a. We need a detail on the primary service.

b. What is the distance from the primary to the modular building?

c. Can the wiring, from the primary to building disconnect, be ran overhead or does have to be in a conduit.

Lawton Indian Service will be providing the tie ins for the Electrical, Sewer, and Domestic water

5. Sanitary Sewer:

a. On sheet S-3 it looks like there is only sewer connection. Is this correct?

b. What size is the connection?

c. Where is the main sewer line that we would tie into located at? What size is this main line?

Lawton Indian Service will be providing the tie ins for the Electrical, Sewer, and Domestic water

6. Fresh Water:

a. Is there only one tie-in required for the water?

b. What size is the tie-in?

c. Where is the main water supply coming from? Whate size is the main line?

d. If we have to cross parking lots and/or roadways, do we have to bore the lines or can we cut the pavement?

Lawton Indian Service will be providing the tie ins for the Electrical, Sewer, and Domestic water

7. Our typical work schedule is 6 days a week with 10 hour days. Typically 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Will these working hours be allowed? Due to this project;s tight timeline, we would like to reduce schedule risk as mu7ch as possible. 7am to 530pm is acceptable. Work may only take place Monday

– Friday, excluding all federal holidays. After hours or weekend work must be requested and approved when drafting the schedule, post award.

8. The drainage install cannot be bid with any accuracy until the engineering has surveyed and produced approved stamp drawings. Engineering wouldn't initiate until after notice to proceed. How would you like us to proceed with the limit scope information for the drainage installation? This will be a firm fixed price contract. As such, contractors are responsible for proposing all associated costs for engineering. The SOW tasks and deliverables indicate that the contractor provide a drainage plan that will include the stamped design and drawings from a licensed civil engineer.

9. The concrete pad is in a similar situaon as the drainage install. Unl there have been stamped and approved drawings the scope is limited. However, we feel that we can be much more accurate with our experience in similar medium to large foundaon installaons. Currently, we have bid a 9600 sq pad with #4 rebar at 12" spacing. The perimeter of the pad includes a spread footer that is 2' wide and 1' extending beyond the botom of the slab with #4 rebar for support. If the structural engineer determines this is inadequate, then adjustment in pricing may be necessary. Please advise if you would like use to proceed this current path. See #2 & #8

10. Our site will have a silt fence around the entire site. Additionally, we will have a 3' T Post orange fence. Tools and equipment will be locked away daily or removed from site. Will the 3' orange fence provide an adequate barrier? Yes, the fence will be adequate.
