About this file
This amendment to solicitation 75H70124Q00007 provides answers to three questions from prospective offerors. The solicitation from the Department of Health and Human Services Indian Health Service is for a new test well to be drilled on a homeowner's property in Snohomish County, Washington. Most debris and cuttings from construction can be left on site in small piles, but the majority must be removed. Offerors should contact the contracting officer representative via phone and email with specifications if a screen is found necessary during drilling. The existing road and clearing behind the garage are sufficient for drilling and no additional road or pad will be provided. The quote due date of December 6, 2023 at 12:00 PM Pacific Time remains unchanged.

Amendment A00001 – SF 30, Block 14 (Cont’d)
The purpose of this amendment is as follows:
1. Three questions have been received and answered in response to this solicitation:
QUESTION ANSWER
Cutting can they be left on site? Under scope it states all debris generated during construction shall be removed from site.
The majority of the cuttings and debris must be removed from the homeowner’s property so that no large unsightly piles remain. Smaller cuttings and debris do not need to be removed.
Screen, how long will it take for the COR to approved?
Per the Scope of Work, if a screen is found to be necessary, Contact the COR via phone and send spec sheet via email detailing what size screen is proposed to be installed so that the COR may review and provide verbal response promptly.
Well location looks to be in a wooded area. Will a road and drill pad be provided along with overhead clearing?
The road to the drill site does not need to be cleared as it has had RVs and Mobile homes able to drive up and down the road with no issues. No drill pad will be provided. The well must be drilled in the existing cleared area behind the garage in order to maintain a
100ft radius from drainfield. The imagery provided in the attachments is a bit shadowed, but there is a clearing grassy area. Prospective contractors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed (See Section L, FAR 52.236-27 SITE VISIT
(CONSTRUCTION)(FEB 1995).
2. The quote due date remains unchanged at December 6, 2023 at 12:00 PM PT.
3. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
Offerors are reminded to acknowledge all amendments on the SF1442 when submitting a quote.
