RFI 005: Where animal waste is present is it expected that the sub-floor be replaced? If so can we provide a square foot cost of that replacement in our bids as a add-on or with this be a mod later when the flooring is removed?
Answer 005: A separate line item can be included in your bids. Treatment of floor joist should also be included is subfloor treatment/replacement if being removed due to animal waste. However, if removal would have occurred due to mold, then removal and replacement should be part of the main bid.
RFI 006. Unit 24 is the basement bathroom to be replaced per drawings or what’s is currently configured?
Answer 006: Replacement of bathroom to be as unit is currently configured.
