Amendment 0002 to Solicitation Number 75F40125Q00437 Subject: Responses to Vendor Questions & Closure of Q&A

1. Purpose of Amendment The purpose of this amendment is to provide official responses to questions submitted by prospective vendors and to notify all vendors that the Government will not accept or respond to any additional questions.

2. Questions and Answers Below are the questions received by the Government and the corresponding official responses. These responses are hereby incorporated into the solicitation.

Question 1: How big is the entry door LxWxH? Is this an office building with tile floors Answer 1: Roll up shop door 10ft wide x 20 ft. tall. The shop floor is 20 inch solid concrete with no floor coating.

Question 2: Does the building have a shipping dock or is it ground floor delivery ?] Answer 2: Ground floor delivery. The delivery truck can pull into the shop if the size is under 10 ft. wide Question 3: Is there a disconnect box mounted for us to connect to?

Answer 3: Yes. All of the wiring is already in place, with a disconnect and plug live and mounted on the concrete shop wall Question 4: We need to know a few things to hire the rigger. And it is not clear if we are wiring the machine or HHS is?

Answer 4: The rigger will need to be there to get the unit off of the delivery truck, and then place the unit in the shop. We do not have the capability to lift, move, or place the machine. Plenty of room in the shop to maneuver a forklift to the spot of placement Question 5: • FR-008: Equipment delivery to specified location Is the contractor to deliver the machine to the building and HHS will offload and place the machine in location of use ?

Answer 5: Milling machine will be delivered to building 130, around the back of the building on ground floor, inside the furthest tallest roll up door. The vendor will need to offload and place the machine in the shop, as we not have the capabilities.

Question 6: Basic installation and setup at delivery site Will HHS wire the machine at the site or do we have to contract trades to do so?

Answer 6: Vendor will unwrap and plug in the machine to assure proper function. There is a 230v receptacle mounted on the wall with a junction box and disconnect.

Question 7: If we do have to hire an electrican, what is the voltage, how far away is the electrical source and how many amps are available.

Answer 7: The 230v electrical is already in place, as there were machines already in the area that the milling machine will be placed. The machine will be placed within 5 feet of the receptacle designated for its use.

Question 8: You have not listed the existing facility's electrical requirements?

Answer 8: The shop is already set for any type of electrical needed for this equipment. 230v recepticals and individual disconnect boxes are allocated for each piece of equipment and are in place for anything new that’s coming in.

Question 9: You have not provided the machine shop area dimensions to understand what the footprint requirement is to meet.

Answer 9: We have a 20ft x 20ft space allocated for this milling machine. Twice the footprint for any machine of the requested size.

Question 10: You did not say anything about the table size of milling machine like 9"x49" or 10" x 50" or 54".

Answer 10: The table size can be any of those mentioned. The longer that the table is the wider it will be. 9” is standard width, 10” width is for the longer tables, but they are all within a few inches of each other and is not an issue inside of the space we have. A maximum of 54” minimum 49.”

3. Closure of Q&A Period Effective as of the date of this amendment, the Government will no longer accept questions related to this solicitation. The solicitation closing date and time will be extended to 9/18/2025 by 12:00 PM ET.
