· The ship by Date is Six weeks after award but maybe be negotiable depending on manufacturer capacity.
3. If the 6 weeks is, delivery is there any flexibility.
· Please see question 2 above.
4. On the bid, you have checked Standard and Set Aside. Which is correct?
· This open to large and small business.
5. We have several ISTA Operationally Validated sizes of several ISCs (insulated shipping containers), however do not have an exact match to the 9.5x8.7x4.8” (large) and 8.5x4.7x2.7” (medium) payload dim specifications. However, we have several stock sizes that are Pre-Qualified meeting the 2-8c 96h requirement. Additionally, we have the capability of manufacturing custom sizes specific to your payload requirement. Both Pre-Qualified and custom-sizes would need to be ISTA Operationally Validated after the solicitation is awarded (deadline Sept 16). Please let us know what options are available and whether or not this will disqualify us from the solicitation.
· Please refer to what is requested in the Statement of Work/Solicitation.
6. We have several insulating material options for ISCs we manufacture: Two-Part Polyurethane or VIP (Vacuum Insulated Panels). Is there a specific insulation material preferred? No specific insulation material is preferred.
· Any Two-Part Polyurethane or VIP (Vacuum Insulated Panels) must meet the stated no-preconditioning requirement.
7. To achieve a minimum 84h requirement, gel bricks are preferred to keep the solution cost-effective and minimize the size/weight dims. Is this acceptable or is there a preferred refrigerant to be used (gel pack, gel brick, PCM)?
· No specific refrigerant is preferred. Any refrigerant used must meet the stated no-preconditioning requirement.
8. Is this a closed-distribution loop? If so, do you have a desire for a sustainable return/reuse solution with a zero-carbon footprint?
