About this file
This Addendum No. 1 is issued by the State of Michigan's Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) and Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for the Yankee Springs Shooting Range project. The addendum, dated April 11, 2025, provides clarifications and responses to bidder questions for a construction project scheduled to start in May 2025 and be completed by mid-September 2025. Key project details include underground electrical work to be trenched along the entire length except under a gravel road, on-site disposal of site spoils and removed trees, and coordination requirements with Consumers Energy for transformer installation.
The addendum introduces Alternate No. 01, which requests bidders to state the amount required to provide a new utility pole mounted transformer with primary cabling installation. It also updates various specification and drawing documents, including adding a topographic mapping sheet, modifying site plan details, and updating general conditions related to prevailing wages. The project will involve constructing a shooting range facility, with state inspectors overseeing construction, and requires the contractor to coordinate site access and specific installation details with the DNR, including vault preparation, gate specifications, and salvaging existing backstops and benches.
