About this file
This document outlines the roles and responsibilities of the Contracting Officer's Representative for a federal contract opportunity to provide meeting booths. The solicitation seeks to procure meeting booths to be used by the Department of Health and Human Services Office of the General Counsel. The Contracting Officer's Representative will provide technical direction to ensure the tasks outlined in the statement of work are accomplished satisfactorily. However, the Contracting Officer's Representative does not have authority to direct work outside the scope of the specification, change the contract price or timelines, modify the contract terms, interfere with the Contractor's performance, or directly supervise the Contractor's employees. Any technical direction given must be confirmed in writing within five business days with a copy to the Contracting Officer. If the Contractor believes the technical direction exceeds these limits, they must notify the Contracting Officer no later than the next business day.
