SOLICITATION QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Question

Answer

1 What is object that needs rust removal? Do you have photos of this object?

Object is an Armag(Magazine) that stores ammunition

2 For containment purposes can we scaffold and Shrinkwrap it?

There is a fence about 4-5 feet that surrounds the Magazine, so when it comes to scaffold/shrink-wrap, it would be tough but that would have to be determined by the vendor.

3 How do you want the rust removal done? Sand blast, grinders, needle guns?

There is no preference on how the rust needs to be removed. It would be a judgement call to the rust removal company as the best way to take action.

4 Does it need a rust inhibitor? Yes.

5 Does it need to be painted afterwards? Painting was not included on the scope of work, but if you want to include that on your quote that would be acceptable.
