Answer: Gear Case Lubrication: Add enough grease to bring the grease level up to the grease plug in the gear case cover. Full quantity about two pounds of grease.

5. Work Item D-008 Cross Deck Winches Renew paragraphs 3.2 #8. the paragraph does not provide how many pounds to use for the weight test and for bidding purposes, please advise how many pounds are required for the weight test.

Answer: Perform functional/no load test (no test weight), rated load test (100%

WLL, +0/-5%) and static test (125% WLL, +5/-0%).

Working Load Limit (WLL) of I-R HU40 winch is 4,000 lbs and WLL of I-R HU40

REMAN winch is 3,280 lbs.

6. Work Item D-009 Hull Fittings, Weight Handling Rigging Hardware, Inspect and Test paragraph 3.2.4, the paragraph does not provide how many pounds to use for the weight test and for bidding purposes, please advise how many pounds are required for the weight test.
