CONTINUATION SHEET

USCGC FRANK DREW DS

RFQ: 70Z08523QIBCT45013, AMENDMENT 0001

Continuation of SF 30, Block 14,

1) Solicitation Section (Period of Performance) KTR review of the specification finds the period of performance short and extremely aggressive for the amount of inspection and overhaul work requested. In addition the KTR finds that many of the optional items if activated have the potential to interfere with base work. Due to the above statement the KTR is requesting the government extend the period of performance from 43 days to 83 days to complete the work requested?

· CG Response: Government will not extend Period of Performance at this time.

2) Solicitation Section (OPTION FOR INCREASED QUANTITY – SEPARATE PRICED LINE ITEM) Upon review of the paragraph listed the KTR finds that due to the aggressive work package listed for a homeport DS availability activation of any Optional item up to 50% of the availability performance period has a high probably to cause delay, disruption and or availability failure. Due to this aggressive work package listed the KTR requests the government reduce the time frame to activate optional items without a contract extension from up to 50% of the availability performance period to up to 10% of the availability performance period.

· CG Response: The government is not editing the requirement for option item activation at this time. The government will work to ensure the contractor is notified upon intention to activate option items as early as possible.

3) Option 030 Deck Covering (Carpeting, Renew) Paragraph 1.1 indicates that the requirements are for the renewal of carpeting of approximately 100 square feet. Paragraph 3.2 indicates several areas of carpeting replacement totaling 325 square feet. Which paragraph is correct?

· CG Response: Paragraph 3.2 is correct

4) Option 028 Vent Space (02-52-2-Q) Deck, Preserve Paragraph 3.3 Surface Preservation is incorrectly numbered and should be paragraph 3.4. The contractor requests the paragraph number be corrected.

· CG Response: Error is noted and will be corrected at a later time. This concern does not affect the work to be completed.
