About this file
This document is Amendment 1 to Request for Quote (RFQ) 70Z08426QDL950035, containing responses to supplier questions regarding a pre-engineered structure procurement.
The amendment addresses a supplier inquiry about proposing an alternate pre-engineered system that would be installed on grade or pavement rather than mounted on a retaining wall. The government's response clarifies that ground-level installation is not acceptable per the RFQ specifications. The structure must be mounted to the retaining wall to preserve space behind adjacent buildings for truck deliveries and garbage collection. However, if a supplier can modify a pre-engineered system to meet the retaining wall mounting requirement specified in the RFQ, such a modified system could be considered technically acceptable for evaluation.

RFQ 70Z08426QDL950035
Amendment 1: Responses to Supplier Questions
1. May we propose an alternate Pre-Engineered system which would sit on Grade/ pavement?
a. A structure which sits on ground rather than mounted on the retaining wall would not be acceptable per the specifications included in the RFQ. The structure must sit on the retaining wall to allow space for trucks to make deliveries and collect garbage behind the adjacent buildings. If the Pre- Engineered structure could be modified to be mounted to the retaining wall as specified in this RFQ, it could be considered Technically Acceptable.
